Rezension: "Marilyn's Monster" von Michelle Knudsen

I am confused. I thought everybody already had his or her own personal monster but with this beautiful, witty and book by Michelle Knudsen "Marilyn's Monster" (brilliantly illustrated by Matt Phelan) I am learning that some of us are still holding out. This seemingly easy-to-understand colorful tale holds by context, language and vocabulary a double layer, deeper meaning and consolation for every lonely heart. It teaches patience but not to the point if obedience to fate, it teaches the human obligation to become a soul captain, a fate master. This also inspired Nelson Mandela if you care to remember. If we were to award stars here for the quality of literary production I'd gladly give 5 out of 5.
